Queering the Compass: Intersectional Affirming Care

The Community-Based Research Centre is a Vancouver-based non-profit organization with satellite offices in Edmonton, Toronto, and Halifax. They promote the health of people of diverse sexualities and genders through research and intervention development. They offer programs to advance 2SLGBTQIA+ health.

Intersectional Affirming Care is the first module in their Queering the Compass: Pathways to 2S/LGBTQIA+ Sexual and Reproductive Health initiative. This free, self-paced module introduces affirming care as a core principle of service delivery. Reflection activities and community voices guide participants to critically reflect on systemic barriers and personal biases.
