Summary
The Equitable Recovery Collective and Imagine Canada partnered to better understand the state of nonprofit organizations’ equity practices across Canada. The Study explored what Canadian charities and nonprofits are doing to advance Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion within their organizations by surveying leaders across the country. They found that while most nonprofit leaders support equity initiatives, far fewer work toward it with deep intentionality. They also found that small and mid-sized organizations and white-led organizations are the least likely to intentionally pursue Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
